People can arrive at your website on literally any page of your website. Therefore it’s important to make sure that the way to contact you is easy and obvious.

If someone is ready to take the action of contacting you, then they are committed. They want to take the relationship that has been forming to the next level – getting into dialogue. They’re a hot prospect, so let’s not lose them!

Playing Big By Being Small

Large companies and corporates are notorious for hiding behind their largeness and not providing an easy way to be contacted. However, this doesn’t have to be the case for medium, small and micro businesses.

Customers ultimately do business with people they know like and trust. So, whilst the content of your website is hugely important in that process, once someone is ready to take the next step, then make it easy for them to take the next step.

Being easily contactable can be played to your advantage. So instead of pretending to be a large company, embrace your smallness. Have contact details readily available on your site. Don’t make it difficult by having your site visitors hunt them down by looking for a contact page.

Design your site so it has what’s sometimes known as a hello bar at the very top of your webpage with your contact details. Repeat your contact details in the footer too. Make it super easy for potential customers to reach out to you.
