When you liken your website to having your business on an island, the island is in the middle of the ocean and difficult to get to. So when potential prospects land on your island for the first time, providing them some free information that they have to exchange their email address for is an excellent way to get them on your ferry service or newsletter so you can continue to provide useful information to them so they get to know like and trust you enough to convert into a paying client.

But potentially, if your newsletter is monthly, it could be a whole month they hear from you again, depending on when in the month they signed up. When they sign up, you can safely assume they are receptive to hear more from you, so why waste a month to get in touch again?

Watch my video for a solution using autoresponders that will serve your potential prospects better and help you (and them) turn potential prospects into clients.

This is a two-part series, so make sure you’ve signed up to my newsletter below to make sure you get the next part “How to create an autoresponder”
